The Heart Foundation’s MyMarathon is a fitness and fundraising challenge
that drives you to run, jog or walk 42.2 kilometres at your own pace during October,
while helping to raise vital funds for lifesaving heart disease research.
You can do it on your own, or as part of a team with friends or colleagues.
Whether you run it in a day, pound it out in a week or walk it in a month-long commitment
to better health, MyMarathon is the fundraising race where you set the pace.
What’s more, you can do MyMarathon anywhere,
from your backyard to the beach to running laps of a city block.
And we’ll be there to encourage you every step of the
way– while you do your personal best for the people you care about.

How MyMarathon works
Sarah’s donating her personal best for her dad’s memory
Sarah’s dad Don died from heart disease when he was just 56. Determined to build something positive from her family’s tragedy, Sarah signed up to MyMarathon.
“I believe that there is always something positive or something bigger that can come out of tragedy. In the bigger picture, getting involved in MyMarathon could literally save someone’s life.”
