Please support my challenge for Australian hearts

Hi all,

This October I will be running 150 kms (with possibly the occasional walk) in an effort to raise funds for, Heart Foundation Australia which conducts lifesaving heart disease research. 

My family has a strong history of heart disease, with 3 of my close family members passing away too soon because of heart disease. 

In 2019, I was fortunate to be flown to Sydney to have a coronary stent inserted into my Left Anterior Descending (LAD) artery to open up a 70% blockage in my heart.  If left undetected this often results in what is commonly known as the "Widowmaker" heart attack with a fatality rate of approximately 75%.

Then in late 2022, I was diagnosed with a heart irregularity known as Supraventricular tachycardia (SVT) which was resolved earlier this year with a procedure performed in Sydney called a Cardiac Ablation.

Too many lives are cut short from heart disease and I feel fortunate to still be here today. 

Hence why I am taking on this 150km run challenge in October. If you are willing to donate a few dollars to support this case I would be extremely grateful.
