1. Set yourself a fundraising target
Make sure you set yourself a fundraising target so your supporters know what you are trying to accomplish. This target should be a challenge for you but also achievable with a little help from your friends and family (and co-workers, neighbours…)
2. Make the first donation
When you make the first donation you’re setting the bar for your family and friends.
3. Spread the word
Let your friends and family know how you’re going and how they can help make your kilometres count. Use these simple pre-written emails to ask for donations, as a gentle reminder of your challenge, or to thank them for helping you go the extra kilometre this October.
5. Connect your fundraising page to a running app
We know the people who connect their Everydayhero fundraising page to their running app raise more money!
To add your runs to your fundraising page click on “Account” then select "manage connections" on the right-hand side. Then click on "connect" and voila! You are ready to share your fitness progress to your page!
