Raised for Aussie hearts
Liam & Kieran run for Mum
This October, my brother Liam and I will be doing our personal best to raise funds for Australian hearts.
Over the month we will each run 42.2 kilometres to raise funds for lifesaving heart research.
In September last year we lost our beautiful mum Sandy to heart failure. Mum suffered for years from heart conditions and a family history of heart disease.
Due to the global pandemic Liam and I have not been able to see each other in person, but have both been inspired to improve our fitness — not only for our own heart health, but also for the great mental health and wellbeing benefits.
Despite being in separate hemispheres, we have been following each other online, supporting each other’s progress, and egging each other on with a bit of brotherly competition.
Thousands of men and women live with heart disease in Australia so we wanted to do something to help and honour our mum.
Join us in supporting Aussie hearts by making a donation to our page, right here and now.
Together, we can win the race against heart disease.
Team members will appear here once they start fundraising or logging km.
